Knee Update

March 16, 2009

Walking feels wonderful on the knee.

Oh how satisfying it is to have back my full range of motion. Walking along streets and pathways around school or home is a pure meditation. Walking from the bus stop to home gives satisfaction I can scarecely verbalize, let alone write down. Inflammation has been reduced, though traces of soreness do remain. Dr. Ching told me with confidence that full recovery would be after six weeks. I am through three of those six today.

Lighting up my life with her ever-constant smile is the beautiful Chanterelle.  Keeping me consistant with my ideals and working towards my goals, she acts both as life-coach and companion. Spending days at a time at each other’s homes, we are continuing the journey of self and other discovery.

If you have not heard, cancer has formulated within my mother’s lung. Brave and trying to remain strong, she is struggling with treatment options and mountains of paperwork. Life has been flopped on its head for her. Her biggest strength and pride, health, has now become her biggest weakness. Imagining how hard it is for her brings me tears. Join my thoughts and prayers in their slow dance to her heart, and her lungs. Help me guide healing energy toward her being.
